Pat Lloyd Bumgardner, 68, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.
He was born on January 19, 1958, in Maryland, a son of the late Joseph Clark Bumgardner and Aretta Florence Fitzwater Bumgardner.
Pat honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy.
Known for his talent and creativity in the kitchen, Pat worked for many years as a dedicated chef. Outside of the kitchen, his greatest passion was fishing, a pastime where he found peace and joy spending hours by the water.
On August 3, 1991, he married Patsy Ann Combs Bumgardner, who preceded him in death on December 28, 2019.
Pat is survived by his son, Christopher (Skyline) King of Shenandoah; his daughter, Wendy Greenawalt (Jason Hanna) of Linden; 10 grandchildren, Eli King, Emily King, Truker Thompson, Destiny King, Dylan King, Faith King, Briggs King, Carlton Greenawalt (Joanna), Mandy Greenawalt, and Caden Greenawalt; and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
