Patricia Ann Lawrence, 84, of Luray, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023.
She was born on August 1, 1938, in Luray and was a daughter of the late John Arthur Nichols and Elsie Mae Somers Nichols.
Patricia was a 1956 graduate of Luray High School and retired as an inspector at Merillat, with more than 20 years of service. She was a member of the Mount Zion Church of the Brethren in Luray, an avid gardener and loved watching over the family’s animals.
She is survived by four sons, Jeffrey Lawrence, and Richard Lawrence and wife Pam, all of Luray, and Gregory Lawrence and wife Bertha, and Timothy Lawrence and wife Donna, all of Stanley; a daughter, Kimberly Shirley and husband Gary of Stanley; five grandchildren, Matthew Lawrence of Luray, Morgan Lawrence of Maryland, Robert Thomas of New Mexico, Erin Shirley of Stanley, and Jarrett Lawrence of California; and four great-grandchildren, Leighton and Delaney Thomas, and Jaxon and Knox Lawrence.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, at the Mount Zion Cemetery by Pastor Jack Haddock.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
