Perry Lyle Dodson, 64, of Luray, Va., died on Thursday, February 23, at Skyview Springs Nursing & Rehab.
He was born on August 24, 1958, in Luray, Va. a son of the late Perry Jacob Dodson and Barbara Ann (Shenk) Short.
He is survived by a daughter, Amber Dawn Bowman of Virginia Beach, Va.; three grandchildren, DeZmond Ray Carroll Wolfe, Tristan Jacob William Sampsell, and Elena Ryan Bowman; two sisters, Joan Knight and Trisha Wright, both of of Luray, Va.; two brothers Sammy Dodson of Luray, Va. and Tony Dodson of Stanley, Va.; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded also in death by a nephew, Jerry Viands.
The family will receive friends noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Antioch Independent Bible Church.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
