SHENANDOAH — Page County High School’s Hayden Plum has lead an explosive Panther offense early in the 2023 season. The senior centerfielder is hitting 6-for-12 (.500), with five RBI and two runs scored through three games. The Panthers stand undefeated at 3-0 after belting a combined 27 hits and scoring 21 runs in just three games.

Plum’s peak performance came against Warren County last week, when he went 3-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored. The senior followed that up with a 2-for-4 performance at the plate on Tuesday at Luray, along with two RBI and another run scored.

Following closely behind Plum’s .500 batting average is fellow senior Adam Short at 4-for-10 (.400). Junior Sean Cave also sits at .500, going 3-for-6 in two games, but the DH did not play in the opener against Clarke.
