December 9, 1911 — Announcements of the marriage of George Freeman Pollock and Ms. Addie Nairn Hunter, were received by friends here the first of the week. The ceremony took place in New York City on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
According to our Valleyburg correspondent the couple will be at Skyland, Mr. Pollock’s resort on the tiptop of the Blue Ridge, this week. His wife owns a beautiful, luxuriously furnished cottage on Skyland, completed within the last few months.
Mr. Pollock has been the proprietor of Skyland for 15 or 20 years past and the great growth and popularity of the Park shows his ability as a resort promoter.
His bride was a beautiful and wealthy widow, of Washington, D.C.
