Lentz puts up 27 pts, 15 rbs in OT win over Warren

LURAY, Dec. 7 — Luray senior Christian Lentz put together a solid week to help the Bulldogs rebound from a season-opening, 66-60, loss to East Rockingham on Nov. 28 and earn two-straight wins, including a 55-50 road win over East Rock Thursday night.

Lentz, a 6’4″ forward, posted the strongest individual performance yet of the young ’23-’24 basketball season after hitting for 27 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in a 85-79 overtime win at Warren County on Tuesday night, Dec. 5.

Hats off to sophomore Matthew Owens, who scored a season-high 23 points against Warren.

With two wins this week, the Bulldogs move to 2-1 on the season and host Stuarts Draft on Monday, Dec. 11.
