Ralph Franklin Knott, 77, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
He was born on June 2, 1946, in Stanley and was a son of the late Edward Thomas Knott and Carrie Elizabeth Cubbage Knott.
Ralph had worked at the Visco Plant and as a painter.
On May 30, 1992, he married Deloris Mae Dellinger Knott, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sisters, Linda Sampson of Stanley, and Wanda Six of Burton, WV.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Franklin Knott Jr.; five sisters, Virginia Comer, Florence Lam, Annie Comer, Edith Comer and Ruby Funkhouser; and six brothers, John, Thomas, Jerry, Walter, Oscar and Billy Knott.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 17, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Donnie Sherfey, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
