Ricky Eugene Jenkins, 65, a resident of Stanley, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
He was born on October 24, 1960, in Luray, and is the son of Louise McCoy Jenkins of Stanley and the late Emmett E. Jenkins.
Ricky graduated from Page County High School in 1979 and was a member of the Church of the Valley. In July 2020, he retired from the US Customs and Border Patrol. He was a Shop Steward and Vice President of the US Custom and Border Patrol Union. He enjoyed hunting, sports, auto racing and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved his family and spending time with them.
On August 18, 2018, he married Ronda K. Kile, who survives.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is also survived by a daughter, Robin Roberts (Bobby); a brother, Danny W. Jenkins (Kathy); grandchildren, Cora R. and Ryker E. Roberts; a stepson, Spencer K. Brittingham (Hailey); step grandchildren, Robert M. Roberts, II and Ethan S. Roberts; Alexander, Abigail and Allison Brittingham; numerous nieces and nephews.
Also, in addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Vinnie Jenkins and Robert and Celia McCoy.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2026 at Church of the Valley, Shenandoah.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the church with Pastor Jim Bebber and Pastor Jacob Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery.
In honor of Ricky’s love for classic cars and Ford mustangs, the family encourages his friends and family to drive them to his services.
