Road repairs required in town

Luray-Main St old

July 28, 1887 — The Council of the Town of Luray at a session last Monday night passed an ordinance availing itself of that provision of law which exempts persons from road tax and work on roads not included within the limits of said town.

The same law, however, requires the town to keep in repair at its own expense all public roads within its limits.
