Age 83, Luray, Va.
Robert Franklin Dodson, 83, of Luray, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Winchester Medical Center.
He was born on June 25, 1936, in Luray and was a son of the late Dennis Franklin Dodson and Bertha Atkins Dodson.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a meat cutter for Safeway, retiring with 30 years of service.
He is survived by two sons, Tim and Gerald Dodson, both of Luray; two grandchildren, Gerald Dodson Jr. and Kristal Dodson, both of Luray; and one great-granddaughter, Rayann Sisk. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Mullinax, Hilda Watson and Oneida Dodson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
