Robert Wayne Campbell Sr., 78, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
He was born on November 17, 1947, in Baltimore, MD, and was a son of the late Elmer Edward Campbell and Mozetta Helen Morse Campbell.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by two sons, Tracy Eugene Campbell of Philippi, WV, and Robert W. Campbell Jr. of Stanley; a daughter, Amanda Dawn Brown of Chattanooga, TN; a brother, Jack T. Campbell of Stanley; a sister, Stella “Louabell” Campbell of Stanley; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, James E. Campbell; a daughter, Tammy L. Beahm; nine sisters, Annette E. Alger, Marie M. Bailey, Brenda L. Breeden, Edith E. Adams, Patricia “Patsy” McCoy, Florence Campbell, Dorothy Campbell, Betty Homsey and Irene F. Jenkins; and five brothers, Elmer Edward Campbell Jr., Arthur Campbell, George Campbell, Ernest Eugene Campbell and Kenneth Campbell Sr.
Services are planned for a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
