Age 84, Luray, Va.
Rose Marie Gwinn Crews, 84, of Luray, Va. passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022.
She was born on April 22, 1937, in Richwood, W.Va., and was a daughter of the late Howard Gwinn and Alda McClung Gwinn.
Rose was a teacher for Page County Public Schools, retiring with 35 years of service. She was a member of the Luray United Methodist Church.
On May 30, 1959, she married Charles Robert “Bob” Crews, who died on August 23, 2008.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Ehlers and husband Don of Luray, Anne Van Wyck and husband John of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Mary Alice Crews of Luray; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Her siblings include: Elizabeth Foster, Jane McMichael, Mary Ruth Olsen, Nancy Franco, Thelma Taylor, Charlie Gwinn and Russell Gwinn.
Services are planned for a later date.
