Age 74, Luray, Va.
Ruth Elenore Lentz, 74, of Luray, died on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.
Ms. Lentz was born on Oct. 2, 1947, in Rileyville and was a daughter of the late Virgil S. Alger Sr. and Ruby Irene Riley Alger.
She is survived by two daughters, Angela Nauman and Lori Lentz, both of Stanley; two sons, Timothy Lentz of Rileyville, and James Lentz of Luray; two brothers, Shirley and James Alger, both of Rileyville; three sisters, Patricia McCauley of Front Royal, Ruby Sheffield of Rileyville, and Wanda Carney of Luray; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil S. Alger Jr.; and a sister, Nora Hockman.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24, at the Rileyville Baptist Church by the Rev. Dan Ellis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rileyville Baptist Church.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
