June 3, 1965 — Last Tuesday evening, approximately 120 4-H Club members, leaders and parents were present at the Springfield Elementary School for the annual 4-H Share-the-Fun contest.
The first place in the senior division went to Leah Dinges for a piano solo.
Second place winners were Susie Foltz and Linda Hoak for their presentation of a comedy act.
Vickie Jenkins placed third for her solo.
A variety act composed of Pete Bradt, Larry Kibler, Bobby Brown, Roger Dovel and Glenn Mayes placed fourth.
In the junior division, Jane Good placed first for her piano solo; Sammy Thomas, second for his saxophone solo; and Diane Koontz, third for her piano solo.
