March 13, 1890 — Dr. Wolf and Mr. Mitter at Milnes are the crack shots with the cat rifle.

They pop bumble bees on the wing same as you would a quail, and can knock a pill off of a cork without jarring the cork.

The Courier told them that our Mr. Armstrong was a good shot, too, whereupon John Brown offered to bet on Milnes every time.
