Six local cheerleaders earn All-Region honors

Four cheerleaders from Page County High School and two from Luray earned All-Region honors in late October. PCHS seniors Bethany Lucas and Brianna Thompson were first team selections in Region 2B competition cheer, along with LHS senior Isabella Jennings.

Page County junior Mady Murphy and sophomore MaKenna Parlett joined LHS junior Natalie Weakley on the All-Region 2B second team.

All-Region selections for competition cheer included 10 honorees on both the first and second teams. Region 2B’s Cheerleader of the Year was Payton Miller of Fort Defiance.

The Page County High School competition cheer team won the Bull Run District championship earlier in the month.
