Stanley Dennis Banach, 67, of Stanley, died on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021.
He was born on July 7, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pa., and was a son of Marjorie Broyles Banach of Stanley and the late John Banach.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two sons, T.J. Banach and Andy Hitt, both of Stanley; three daughters, Bobbie Jenkins and Rebecca Mitchell, both of Stanley, and Elizabeth Hitt of Shenandoah; three brothers, John Banach of Stanley, Robert Banach of Gloucester, and Richard Banach of Tennessee; two sisters, Marjorie Quillen of Luray, and Bonnie Moore of Shenandoah; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and his companion, Margaret Moore of Stanley.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, at the Forward For Christ Baptist Church by Josh Parlett. Burial will be in the Calvary Independent Brethren Cemetery in Stanley.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
