Age 91, Luray, Va.
Thelma Marie Frye, 91, of Luray, died on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020.
She was born on Jan. 2, 1929, and was a daughter of the late Lloyd Hunter Tutt and Mattie Blanch Haynes Tutt.
On May 22, 1950, she married Roscoe Warren Frye, who died May 30, 2013.
She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Green of Luray; two sons, Michael Frye of Winchester, and Marvin Taylor of Luray; a sister, Dorothy Allen of Dale City; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lynwood Tutt; and two sisters, Rose Ella Carter and Vivian Washington.
A private service will be conducted on Friday, Oct. 23, at the Frye Family Cemetery in Luray by Pastor Stephanie Callwood.
