Thomas crowned Miss Page

April 15, 1965 — Chosen winner of the Miss Page County contest sponsored by the Stanley Lions Club at the Luray High School last Saturday night was Miss Jeanne Thomas, a 17-year-old senior at Page County High School, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thomas, of Shenandoah.

Miss Thomas is a soprano in the Page County Choral group.

She was crowned by last year’s winner, Bernadette Stoneberger, of Stanley, amid an apple blossom setting.

Runners-up, who will serve as princesses on the float, were: Linda Hoak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hoak, of Luray; Wanda Beahm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Beahm, of Stanley; Judy Lam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Lam, of Shenandoah; and Diane Carrol, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Williams, of Luray.
