Thomas Richard Baker

Age 90, Luray, Va.

Thomas Richard “Tommy” Baker, 90, of Luray, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024.

He was born on October 19, 1933, in Gainesville and was a son of the late James Bradley Baker Sr. and Mary Lucille Soper Baker.

Thomas retired from IBM and was a veteran of the United States Army.

On May 24, 1957, he married Genevieve Wilt Baker, who died on September 30, 2018.

He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Newcomer and husband John of Greencastle, PA; two brothers, John Clark Baker and Donald English Baker, both of Manassas; and his companion, Martha Reinsfelder of Luray. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Bradley Baker Jr.

Burial will be conducted at noon on Friday, May 10, at Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas.
