January 2, 1964The Tomney’s Gulf Service bowling team defeated Jones Self Service recently in a make-up match in the Men’s Mayor League by taking four points and rolling a team set of 1,792 at the Luray Bowling Lanes.

Jones Self Service had a set of 1,687.

Leroy Tomney of the winners took individual honors with a set of 408 and a 149 game.

Chase Price, a team mate, rolled a set of 382.

Ralph Jones had high set for the losers, 349, with Peck Campbell second with 333.
