Turner makes state rugby team

November 20, 1986 — Bob Tuner, a member of the Mary Washington College Rugby Club, recently was selected to play on the state rugby team.

Turner is playing on the Virginia Rugby Union Team — a member of the Eastern Rugby Union that has teams up and down the East Coast.

Turner, a 1984 graduate of Luray High School, is a third-year student at Mary Washington and son of Woodrow and Peggy Turner of Luray.
