Weekly YouTube show dives into various issues, sites and events in the Page Valley

By Randy Arrington

LURAY, May 6 — This week we visit the historic 18th century “White House” along the South Fork of the Shenandoah River to discuss Page County’s plans for the VA250 campaign, celebrating 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Localities all across Virginia have activities planned throughout 2026. We’ll discuss activities planned in our communities from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, as well as the four historical markers to be dedicated in the county this year, with local VA250 Committee Chairman Rod Graves and Page County Director of Economic Development and Tourism Nina Fox.

(Page Valley Livin’~Episode 115 was recorded Tuesday, May 5, and aired Wednesday, May 6, 2026).

Coming up on Page Valley Livin’… we’ll discuss programs being offered by the Page County Recreation Department, the opening of the Hawksbill Pool and its long-term outlook in Stanley, and visit the Shenandoah Memorial Parade.

The aim and purpose of these videos is to provide more information about more things that make up the wonderful place we call the Page Valley of Virginia. Serious issues will be handled seriously, while lighter issues may offer more opportunity to have some fun. There is no theme or agenda other than promoting the Page Valley, and trying to better inform the people who both live here and those who love to visit.
