Wallace O’Neal “Jackie” Mawyer, 82, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020.
He was born on July 11, 1938, in Rileyville and was a son of the late Neil Mawyer and Flossie Deavers Mawyer.
Jackie was a staff sergeant with the United States Air Force for 20 years.
On July 11, 2003, he married June Good Mawyer, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Lori Hayes of Cape May Court House, N.J.; and a granddaughter, Kayli Hayes of Cape May Court House, N.J.
He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Mawyer; and a brother, Wilford Mawyer.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery Pavilion in Luray by Walt Gordon.
Arrangements are in the caring hands of the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
