Wendy Renee Skiles, 59, of Shenandoah, VA., passed away August 13, 2020, at Accordius Health at Harrisonburg.
Wendy was born May 29, 1961, in Baltimore, Md. and was the daughter of the late William and Nellie Carter Skiles.
Wendy was raised and spent many years in Baltimore before relocating to the Valley. She was a skilled painter and worked in drywall as well, and was previously employed with Masonite Corporation in Stanley. She was a member of the Avis O. Comer VFW Post 8613 in Shenandoah, as well as the Shenandoah Moose Lodge No. 2176..
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Lamb and husband, Troy of McGaheysville, and Beth Baldwin of Shenandoah; sisters, Colleen Cross and husband, Ed of Dundalk, Md., and Carol Alisea and husband, Paul of McConnellsburg, Pa; brother, William Skiles and wife, Bernice of Rosedale, Md.; six grandchildren, Kirsten Morris, Katlyn Morris, Eva Buckley, Raylan Wise, James Pizza and Raven Pizza; father of her children, Wayne Baldwin and several nieces and nephews.
The family will commemorate her life privately.
Arrangements are being handled by Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
