William Garry Sayre, 74, of Luray, passed away in his home on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022.
He was born on February 7th, 1947 in Washington, DC. and was a son of the late Richard E. Sayre and Vivian A. Sayre.
He retired from the Federal Aviation Association after 31 years of government service in 2009.
On October 19, 1974, he married Anna Lynn Sayre, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his two sons, William Allen Sayre of Port Charlotte, FL and Andrew Parrish Sayre of Harrisonburg, VA. His four grandchildren William Grant Sayre, Caleb Allen Sayre, and Eliza Mae Sayre of Port Charlotte, FL, and Aiden Dale Bostic of Dayton, OH.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray.
