Hilda Marie Fox Yager

Age 81, Luray, Va.

Hilda Marie Yager, 81, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on February 3, 1943, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Wesley Albert Fox and Catherine Hilda Smith Fox.

Hilda was a member of the Morning Star Lutheran Church in Luray.

Her husband, Dennis Paul Yager, died on July 4, 2023.

Hilda is survived by a stepdaughter, Tammy Ritenour and husband Darris of Stanley; a sister, Delores Jean Painter of Luray; a brother, Albert Luther Fox of Waynesboro; three grandsons, Stephen Paul Williams, Derek Williams and Wesley Harlow, all of Stanley; two granddaughters, Kiarah Harlow and Kailey Harlow, both of Stanley; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Harlow.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bradley Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
