On Monday, April 6, two members of the Luray High School girls basketball team (29-2) earned first-team All-State honors.
Sophomore Emilee Weakley and junior Brynlee Burrill were selected among the top eight girls basketball players in Virginia at the 2A level.
A total of 16 players earned All-State honors at each level — eight each on the first and second teams. All-State selections were made from a pool of 32 players who earned first-team All-Region honors.
