Anna Kathryn Walton Cubbage, 79, of New Market, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024.
She was born on August 8, 1944, in Timberville and was a daughter of the late Randolph Walton and Bernice Knupp Walton.
Anna was a member of the Fairview Church of the Brethren in Timberville.
On September 22, 1967, she married Thomas Cubbage, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Cathy Cubbage Richards and husband Darrin of Luray; a sister, Janet Mongold of Verona; and two grandsons, Caleb Beck and Logan Richards, both of Luray.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 3, at the Fairview Brethren Cemetery in Timberville by Pastor Archie Webster.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Jennifer Derby and First Choice Hospice for their skilled and compassionate care. Also, special thanks and gratitude to her niece, Tina Mongold McCoy, for her assistance and loving care over the last several months.
