Anthony Leighton “Tony” Painter, 66, of Luray, died on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1955, in Luray and was a son of Sally Meadows Painter of Stanley and the late Leighton Eldon Painter.
On March 29, 2020, he married Ruby Darlene Good Painter, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his mother and his wife are a son, Zach Painter of Stanley; a stepson, Todd Lawson of Luray; a stepdaughter, Jami Lawson of Luray; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Brian Scott Painter.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, at The Bradley Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m.
