July 10, 1961 — Kyle Beaghan, former Shenandoah High School athlete with the Air Force in Germany, recently pitched his team, the Ramstein Rams, to a 10-0 victory over the Wiesbaden Flyers to wrap up the First- Half USAFE Germany District Title.

Beaghan, who used mostly sharp-breaking curves and fastballs during the game, allowed seven scattered hits and aided his own cause at bat with a single. He fanned seven of the losers.

Kyle, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Beaghan Sr., of Shenandoah, has a 3-1 pitching record in the German district league.
