Catherine Louise Stepp, 97, of Stanley, Va., died on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020.
She was born on October 31, 1923, in Charles Town, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Charles Russell Painter and Lorence Rae Painter.
She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by one brother, Eddie Painter of Inwood, W.Va.; two sisters, Peggy Turner of Charles Town, W.Va. and Nancy Engle of Kearnesville, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Russell Painter Jr.; and five sisters, Dorothy Vorous, Maude Smerman, Eva Peterson, Mildred Comer and Rebecca Deck.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29, at the Stanley Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 318 Church Ave., by Richard Reichichar. Burial will be in the Stanley Advent Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Brown Funeral Home.
