Clyde Shirley Stroop, 74, of Front Royal, died on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Stroop was born on Jan. 8, 1947, in Luray and was a son of the late Clyde Emmett Stroop and Lois Virginia Riley Stroop.
He is survived by his companion, Carolyn Payne of Front Royal; a son, Anthony Fults of Illinois; a daughter, Patricia Mullins of Clintwood; two brothers, Charles “Phillip” Stroop of Luray, and Robert Stroop of Front Royal; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Marie Martin and Lois Carol Kerns.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 1, at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray by Pastor Randy Miller.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church, Stanley, Va. 22851.
