Holloway scores 7 TDs over three games

Luray High School senior Austin Holloway has accounted for 42 points for the Bulldogs with seven touchdown runs over the last three games.

On March 12 against Stonewall Jackson, Holloway scored two touchdowns on Luray’s first two plays from scrimmage on breakaway runs of 77 and 60 yards. The next week he did the same thing with touchdown runs of 16 and 20 yards to open the game. On Friday night against Clarke County he tallied three rushing touchdowns of 70, 14 and 47 yards.

The leading rusher for the Bulldogs has totaled more than 300 yards on seven touchdown carries alone. Holloway posted a season-high 193 yards against Stonewall Jackson.

The senior will lead the ground attack against rival Page County this Thursday night, April 1 at PCHS. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. The game will be livestreamed on the NFHS network accompanied by PVN Sports commentary.
