Derick Wade Shenk, 49, of Luray, Va. died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021 at Sentara R.M.H. Hospital in Harrisonburg, Va. He was born on June 2, 1972, in Harrisonburg, Va.
Derick was married to Jan Marie Walker Shenk on June 18, 2012, who preceded him in death on Aug. 17, 2021. He was also preceded in death by mother Nancy Arlene Good Gray.
He is survived by his father Roy Shenk of Luray, Va.; daughter Natasha Lynn Shenk of Mt. Jackson, Va.; son Dustin Wade Shenk of Fulks Run, Va.; step-daughter Samantha Dawn Miller of Fulks Run, Va.; step-son Blake Dean of Luray, Va. and step-son Bryton Dean of Luray, Va. and sister Lauren Seastrom of Luray, Va. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
Services performed under the direction of The Bradley Funeral Home, 187 E. Main St., Luray, Va.
