LURAY, Sept. 2 — A Page County grand jury handed down 33 indictments during Wednesday’s session in Page County Circuit Court. This was only the third monthly grand jury session held in the local circuit court since March 4 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Of the 33 indictments issued last week in Page County, one was listed as “SEALED” with no name listed on the docket. The Page County Sheriff’s Office was listed as the investigating agency placing a charge of distribution of a Schedule I/II narcotic. Until a circuit court judge unseals the file, the details of the case, including who has been charged, will remain hidden from public view.
The remaining 32 indictments issued on Sept. 2 in Luray were spread out among 15 individuals:
• Savannah Toland was indicted on four charges of child endangerment. She was also indicted on one count each of providing false identification to law enforcement officials, driving with a suspended license and felony elude. The Luray Police Department filed the charges. Her attorney is listed as “Butler.”
• Omar Rivera was indicted on one count each of assault and battery of a family member, child endangerment, and threat; and two counts of assault of a law enforcement officer. The charges were placed by the Stanley Police Department. His attorney is listed as “R. Morgan.”
• Antoine Bailey was indicted on one count each of brandishing a firearm, possession of a Schedule I/II drug, and possession of a firearm while in the possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The Luray Police Department filed the charges. His attorney is listed as “R.Morgan.”
• Donald Fox was indicted on one count each of strangulation, and assault and battery. The charges were placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. His attorney is listed as Public Defender (PD).
• Chase Hensley was indicted on one count of possession of a Schedule I/II narcotic, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges were placed by the Stanley Police Department. His counsel is listed as “R.Morgan.”
• Amy Jo High was indicted on one count of possession of a Schedule I/II narcotic, and one count of drunk in public. The Page County Sheriff’s Office filed the charges. Her attorney is listed as “T. Senn.”
• Katelyn Lucas was indicted on two counts of possession of a Schedule I/II narcotic. One charge was filed by the Luray Police Department, while the other charge was filed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. Her attorney is listed as “R.Morgan” (LPD charge) and Public Defender “PD” (PCSO charge).
• Avery Schwartz was indicted on one count of possession of a Schedule I/II narcotic, and one count of providing false identification to law enforcement officials. The Page County Sheriff’s Office filed the charges. The attorney was listed as “Elledge.”
• Michael Stroupe was indicted for child endangerment. The charge was placed by the Luray Police Department. His attorney is listed as Public Defender “PD.”
• Jessica Richards was indicted for obtaining money by false pretense. The Page County Sheriff’s Office filed the charge. Her attorney is listed as “R. Morgan.”
• Douglas McDaniel was indicted for possession of a Schedule I/II narcotic. The charge was placed by Virginia State Police. No counsel was listed.
• Miller Price II was indicted on one count of possession of a Schedule I/II narcotic. The charge was filed by “Fadeley.” The attorney is listed as “T. Senn.”
• Robert Pizza was indicted on one count of larceny. The charge was filed by the Shenandoah Police Department. No attorney was listed.
• Bryant McCoy was indicted on one count of possession of a Schedule I/II narcotic. The Page County Sheriff’s Office placed the charge. His attorney is listed as “H. Jackson.”
• Alicia Bowman (aka Conner) was indicted on one count of possession of Schedule I/II narcotic. No arresting agency or attorney was listed.
