Page County grand jury indicts 15 individuals on 39 charges during July session

LURAY, July 1 — A Page County grand jury indicted 15 individuals on a total of 39 charges during the July 1 session in Page County Circuit Court. This was the first grand jury session held in the local circuit court since March 4 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

July indictments include:

  • Gregory S. Good was indicted on nine separate charges, including two counts of grand larceny, two counts of possession of a Schedule I/II drug (at least one of which was methamphetamine), possession of a firearm while also in possession of a Schedule I/II drug, possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, larceny with intent to sell, breaking and entering, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges were placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. Good’s attorney is Charles Butler of Luray.
  • Garland Keith Turner Jr. was indicted on five charges, including three counts of possession of a Schedule I/II drug (methamphetamine), driving with a suspended or revoked license, and displaying a fictitious inspection sticker. The charges were placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. Turner’s attorney is listed as “H. Jackson.”
  • Adam W. Williams was indicted on four charges, including two counts of assault and battery (third or subsequent offense), abduction by force, and damaging a phone line. The charges were placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. William’s attorney is listed as “Helm.”
  • Cody L. Moore was indicted on three charges, including two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of solicitation. The charges were placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. William’s attorney is Roger Smith of Luray.
  • Randall A. Atkins was indicted on three separate charges, including strangulation, malicious wounding, and assault and battery of a family member. The charges were placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. Atkins’ attorney is listed as “public defender.”
  • Michael Roy Dwyer Jr. was indicted on three charges, including possession of a Schedule I/II drug, trespassing, and obstruction of justice. The charges were placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. Dwyer’s attorney is Richard Morgan.
  • Kevin Lee Dunbar Jr. was indicted on two charges, including breaking and entering, and credit card fraud. The charges were placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. No attorney is listed.
  • Michael L. Bradley was indicted on two separate charges, including possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, and reckless handling of a firearm. The charges were placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. Bradley’s attorney is Richard Morgan.
  • Robert W. Cave was indicted on two charges, including possession of a Schedule I/II drug (methamphetamine), and trespassing. The charges were placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. The attorney is listed as “Big Valley.”
  • Kenneth S. Breeden Jr. was indicted on a single charge of possession of a Schedule I/II drug (methamphetamine). The charge was placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. Atkins’ attorney is listed as “T. Senn.”
  • Sarah K. Comer was indicted on a single charge of possession of a Schedule I/II drug (methamphetamine). The charge was placed by the Luray Police Department. Comer’s attorney is listed as “public defender.”
  • Brandon Layman was indicted on a single charge of possession of a Schedule I/II drug (methamphetamine). The charge was placed by the Luray Police Department. Layman’s attorney is attorney is Richard Morgan.
  • Kelly D. Via was indicted on a single charge of embezzlement. The charge was placed by the Shenandoah Police Department. No attorney is listed.
  • Leonard Rothgeb Jr. was indicted on a single charge of possession of a firearm after being convicted of a felony. The charge was placed by the Page County Sheriff’s Office. Rothgeb’s attorney is Charles Butler of Luray.
  • Daniel L. Moneymaker was indicted on a single charge of failing to register as a sex offender. The charge was placed by the Virginia State Police. No attorney is listed.

Monthly grand jury hearings are held the first Wednesday of each month in Page County Circuit Court.
