PAGE COUNTY — The “Shop Small in Page County” campaign returns, a collaborative effort once again between the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce, County of Page, Town of Luray, Town of Stanley, Town of Shenandoah, Luray Downtown Initiative, Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center, Blue Ridge Bank, and First Bank & Trust Company Elkton. This initiative continues to foster support for local businesses during the holiday season.

“With the holidays approaching, this is a perfect time to make an impact by choosing local businesses for your shopping needs,” said Regina Hilliard, President of the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce. “By supporting our local shops and restaurants, you’re directly contributing to the vitality of our community and helping these small businesses thrive.”

Shop Small kicks off on Small Business Saturday, Saturday, Nov. 30 and runs until Dec. 22, offering a chance for shoppers to win exciting prizes. When you shop or dine locally in Page County from Nov. 30 through Dec. 22, you can enter to win a $500, $250, or $100 shopping spree.

To enter, simply email a picture of your receipt to events@luraypage.com or drop it off at 18 Campbell Street, Luray. Each receipt counts as one entry, even for online orders, as long as your entry includes your name, phone number, and a copy of the receipt. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, Dec. 22, at 5 p.m., with the drawing taking place live on Facebook on Monday, Dec. 23.

“Small businesses are the heart and soul of Page County, and this campaign is a wonderful way for the community to give back,” added Hilliard. “We’re encouraging everyone to show their support and invest in the local economy. Whether it’s shopping for gifts or dining out, every purchase helps strengthen our county.”
