Age 73, Luray, Va.
Jan David Garber, 73, of Luray, died on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023.
He was born on Dec. 6, 1949, in Arlington and was a son of the late Jacob Daniel Garber and Alda Pauline Redmond Garber.
Mr. Garber worked as a supervisor for Safeway for 31 years.
On April 8, 1983, he married Donna Terry Garber, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, David Jay Garber of Florida, and Joshua Daniel Garber of Luray; a daughter, Jaime Fitzgerald of Fairfax; two stepdaughters, Tonya Marie Perkins and Kimberly Ann Perkins, both of Luray; three sisters, Sherrie Mullins and Janet Lee DeBrosse, both of Sarasota, Fla., and Shirley Courtney of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jacob Daniel Garber Jr.
Services are planned for a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
