Joel Westley Funk, 67, of Luray, Va., passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2021 at his home in Luray, Va. He was born on July 16, 1954, in Sumter, S.C.
Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at Luray Moose Lodge.
Joel worked for Dominion Power for 40 years.
On Aug. 24, 1985, he married Tina Orren, who survives him. He is also survived by his mother Ava Hume Pullen Funk of Fisherville, Va.; son Winton Mitchell Funk and wife Jillian of Amissiville, Va.; granddaughter Kelsey Funk and grandson Parker Funk.
He was preceded in death by his father Winton Mitchell Funk.
Memorial contributions may be mad to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
Services performed under the direction of The Bradley Funeral Home at 187 E. Main St., Luray, Va.
