Town of Luray
Contract Mowing & Other Services
The Town of Luray is seeking contract mowing and related services for private properties needing maintenance as directed by the Town for Code Enforcement issues, to include trash/debris pickup and minor brush trimming and removal. The Town pays the contractor.
Additionally, the Town will be seeking estimates for expanded contract mowing and trimming for specific areas of public property within the Town and Town properties. Services will include trash and debris pickup before mowing, trimming, mowing, blowing off sidewalks and streets, removal of any debris, trash, and limbs, as well as cut grass, as needed. An established mowing schedule, with quality of finished product criteria and post-work inspections, will be agreed to.
Coordination of contract activities to minimize impacts on the traveling public (motorists and pedestrians), will be required, as will a Town Business. The contractor will be required to provide their own equipment, fuel, vehicles, trailers, maintenance, supplies, and tools. Safety gear will be required. The Town will provide road-side signs for contractor use, as needed.

This solicitation may serve as an annual, or multi-year, contract with the Town. The solicitation is open until filled, with a first review of qualified candidates beginning June 16, 2025. The Town is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
