• 5 p.m.“Let’s Taco-Bout Your Business”, Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce’s 98th annual Banquet and Awards, Stoneyman Valley Ranch, 283 Pollock Road, Luray. Cocktail hour, dinner, silent auction, awards. Cost $75 per person.

• 6 p.m.LHS baseball, softball, girls soccer v. Clarke, Bulldog Field and LHS softball field

• 7:30 p.m. — “Charlotte’s Web,” Trackside Theater, 32-B East Main Street, Luray, tickets $15 for adults and $7.50 for students at the door or online, community theater for the whole family.

• 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. — Daughter of the Stars Farmers Market, Luray Market, 18 Campbell Street at the Luray-Page County Visitors Center at the Depot.

• 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. — BBQ chicken sale, Luray Ruritan Club, chicken halves $6, chicken cooked early that day at fairgrounds and then sold at two locations on Main Street in Luray — Dollar General parking lot (near Hardees) and across Main Street from the West Luray Recreation Center (a.k.a. – “The Rec”); all profits go directly toward Luray Ruritan projects throughout the year to better the community. Luray Ruritans Club meets monthly on the first Thursday at the Luray United Methodist Church fellowship hall. Meetings include meals at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to join the Club to learn more about their work.

• 7 p.m. — Luray Council, regular meeting, Town Hall, 45 East Main Street

• 6 p.m. — LHS baseball, softball, girls soccer v. Central, Bulldog Field and LHS softball field

• 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. — Daughter of the Stars Farmers Market, Luray Market, 18 Campbell Street at the Luray-Page County Visitors Center at the Depot.

• 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.Garden Lover’s Day, Birdsong Pleasure Garden, 1414 Longs Road, Luray, free parking, local artisans, refreshments, rain or shine, $15 per person (includes one raffle ticket), grden tours, unique garden plantings, soothing water features, plant sale (trees, shrubs, natives, house plants), proceeds benefit environmental scholarships.

• 11:30 a.m. — Hawksbill Pool opens for season, 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, Hawksbill Park, Stanley
