from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.
This is Max
Max came to the shelter as a stray and is about 10 years old. He has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
Max is a lovable, chunky senior pup with a heart just as big as his appetite. He’s carrying a little too much extra love, and it’s contributing to some arthritis discomfort in his joints. With a proper diet, gentle exercise, and lots of encouragement, Max’s mobility could improve significantly.
Max is the definition of a vibe. As a senior gentleman, he prefers cozy naps, slow strolls, and soaking up affection over high-energy adventures. He absolutely adores greeting people though; his tail starts wagging the moment he sees a friendly face. Despite his size, he’s incredibly gentle and has the calm, steady temperament that makes senior dogs such wonderful companions.
