This is Mr. Sassy!

Mr. Sassy is an approximately 10-month-old male. He found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own. His previous owner decided to sign him over to us when they discovered they had a new baby on the way.

The story of how Mr. Sassy got his name is certainly interesting to say the least. When a cat or dog is released to us, we usually try to keep their names. So when Mr. Sassy was signed over to us, we were told he was a female cat and was named “Sassy.” Well, Sassy ended up being playfully dubbed “Mr. Sassy” when we realized he was actually a boy. Of course, this name was never intended to stick, but it was somehow so silly, it did. We completely understand that whoever adopts this wonderful boy will want to change his name, but that’s totally fine! It gets to be increasingly difficult to find new, creative names.

Mr. Sassy is the perfect combination between charming and cheeky. He has a soft, plush coat and large, glossy eyes that make him look just like a stuffed animal, complete with irresistibly tiny paws!

This sweet kitty is playful and soaks up any attention you can spare. He is sure to make a wonderful companion for anyone who’s lucky enough to get the chance to meet him.

So, if you’re looking to add a dash of sass and a whole lot of love to your life,

please come and meet him today!
