Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets
from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.
This is Walley!
Walley is 5 years old and was brought to the shelter as an owner surrender after the previous owner could no longer care for him. Walley is very sweet and always has a lot to say.
On a typical day for Walley, he loves to eat his morning food and then go out to potty. He loves attention and is very treat motivated. His body weight sure does show it as he is definitely a little bit of a chunk.
Walley is fairly well house trained. He does great during our operating hours! It’s after hours that he struggles with, but that’s not all Walley’s fault!
Walley has a habit of flipping his entire food bowl the moment it hits the floor, so he would be best suited for a non-flip bowl. He does really well on a lead and coming back in presents no problems for him. Walley does not seem to mind the other dogs in kennels and doesn’t react to them. Walley is simply more interested in treats or going outside than paying attention to any of the other dogs.
Overall, he is a great, silly, loving dog who is looking for his next fur-ever home.
Could it paws-ably be with you?
