May 30, 1987 — Negotiations are being completed for the sale of the Mimslyn, Luray’s elegant landmark hotel, it was reported this week. Details of the sale are expected to be announced at a media conference this Saturday afternoon at the Mimslyn. The conference for invited news media representatives has been called by officials of Castleman-Alexander Inc., the firm which operates Bryce Resort at Basye, which is negotiating to purchase the hotel. The present owners are Max and Charlotte Corbett of San Gabriel, Calif.
