SHENANDOAH, May 25 — On Sunday, officials with the Town of Shenandoah released a list of winners from the 2025 Memorial Festival Parade. First-place winners received $100, while second place received $50. Covering a dozen categories, the Town gave away a total of $1,800 in prizes.
• ANTIQUE ENTRY — 1st, Central Va. Timeline-Jeep; 2nd, Kevin Comer Tractor.
• CIVIC ENTRY — 1st, Shenandoah VFW; 2nd, Boy Scouts of America.
• FAITH-BASED ENTRY — 1st, Kings Harbour Christian Fellowship; 2nd, Shenandoah Assembly of God.
• MOST UNIQUE ENTRY — 1st, Justin Meadows – Mack Truck; 2nd, Impact Ministries.
• MOST DECORATIVE ENTRY — 1st, Sierra Campbell – Tiki Wagon; 2nd, Shenandoah River Adventures.
• COMMERCIAL ENTRY — 1st, Rudy’s Diner; 2nd, Big Red’s Power Washing.
• FIRE ENTRY — 1st, Shenandoah Vol. Fire Co.; 2nd, Stanley Vol Fire Dept.
• RESCUE ENTRY — 1st, Elkton Rescue; 2nd, Stanley Rescue Squad.
• MAJORETTES — Seniors, Twirling Medallions; Juniors, Twirling Medallions.
• MUSIC ENTRY — 1st, Hailey Comer – Singing for His Glory Group; 2nd, Sud’s in a Bucket.
• MILITARY ENTRY — 1st, Charlie Jenkins – Military truck with flags; 2nd, Irvin Judd – Retired WWII Vet.
• TRACTOR ENTRY — 1st, Jacob Shifflett; 2nd, Robbie Jenkins.
