October 5, 1961 — The new $900,000 Page County High School, located midway between Shenandoah and Stanley on U.S. 340, will be dedicated Sunday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Woodrow W. Wilkerson, state superintendent of public instruction, as the principle speaker.
Other prominents in the school program in Page County will also be on the program which will be preceded by musical selections by the Page County High School Band.
The services will be followed by an opportunity to inspect the new facilities and refreshments will be served by the Student Cooperative Association (SCA).
