Dr. Huber comes from Greene; Ryman headed to Prince William

LURAY, June 17 — Page County Public Schools issued a letter from Dr. Antonio Fox on Monday announcing the hiring of Dr. Bryan Huber as the next Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, Accountability and Innovation. He most recently served as Assistant Superintendent of Greene County Public Schools and replaces Gabby Ryman, who served in the position for two years and has accepted a position with Prince William County Public Schools.
“Dr. Huber brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position and his skills will help our division move forward to ensure that we continue to provide the very best experiences to all of our students and staff,” Dr. Fox stated in the June 17 letter to PCPS families.
Dr. Huber has been a Virginia educator for the past 17 years, serving as a mathematics teacher and assistant principal with Augusta County Schools and the Director of Transportation and Principal with Rockingham County Schools. Dr. Huber holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Virginia Tech, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
“Working alongside and in collaboration with families, staff, leadership and our school board, we will continue the great traditions of Page County Public Schools, while also ensuring that our students are exceptionally prepared for their futures,” he said in a statement included in Dr. Fox’s letter.
“Through my 17 years in public education, I have made it my mission to be enthusiastic, authentic, transparent, and make decisions that are student centered,” Dr. Huber’s statement continued. “I am ecstatic to bring that mission to Page County Public Schools, and I look forward to working with each and every member of our school community.”
Dr. Huber will begin his tenure with Page County Public Schools on July 1, 2024.
