LURAY — Zone 5 Ruritan Clubs got together on a recent Saturday morning at the Page Valley fairgrounds to cook BBQ chickens. This would be the main course for the annual Weekday Religious Education (WRE) annual banquet.
Organized by Dave Naser of the Luray club, and along with members of the Rileyville and Newport Grove-Hill clubs, these volunteers give back to the community at large. You are invited to check out joining a local club in fellowship, goodwill and community service.
Contact any club member to learn of dates and location of monthly meetings, or stop by either of the two spring BBQ fundraisers at the parking lot in front of Dollar General on Main Street Luray. We will be cooking this again on Saturday, May 3.
